The MNAC museum (National Museum of Catalonian Art) embraces all of the arts (sculpture, painting,art objects, drawing, engraving, posters, photography and coinage) and has the task of explaining the general history of Catalan art from the Romanesque period to the mid-twentieth century. There are also examples and comparisons of Catalan Art to the work of great artists such as El Greco, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Cranach, Rubens, etc. Regular entry price is €8.50, (only €6 for cardholders)
