Eating out in Barcelona’s restaurants is an essential and very enjoyable part of the city’s Mediterranean lifestyle. Restaurants specializing in seafood and paella are predominantly located along the seafront, in the Port Olympic and Barceloneta area, whilst traditional Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine is found throughout the city.

Tapas restaurants and bars are plentiful and popular with the local after-work crowd and tourists alike.
